DAZN Bet Launches Sportsbook and Online Casino in Ontario
DAZN has expanded its betting operations into North America by launching DAZN Bet in Ontario. The platform went live on 30 June 2026, becoming the brand’s first gambling launch outside Europe.
DAZN Bet already operates in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain and Italy. Its Ontario platform includes sports betting, slot games, table games and live casino content. The company received a licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in January, although the official launch was delayed for several months.
Ontario is one of Canada’s most competitive regulated gambling markets, with 47 licensed operators managing 81 iGaming websites. DAZN Bet will compete with established international and local brands but may benefit from DAZN’s existing reputation as a sports streaming service.
The company plans to combine sports content and betting through a watch-and-bet model designed to keep users within the same entertainment ecosystem. DAZN Bet may also enter Alberta after the province launches its regulated iGaming market on 13 July.
