Pragmatic Play Expands into Alberta’s Regulated iGaming Market
Pragmatic Play has entered Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market, expanding its presence in Canada after establishing operations in Ontario.
The supplier has received certification for a wide range of its games in the province. Its slot portfolio includes titles such as Fury of Anubis, Big Bass Blast and games from the Gates of Olympus series.
Pragmatic Play’s live casino content has also been certified for Alberta. Operators will be able to offer blackjack, baccarat, roulette and several live game shows from the provider.
The move comes as Alberta opens its regulated online gambling market to private operators and gaming suppliers. The province gives Pragmatic Play another opportunity to grow in Canada, where the company already works with several operators in Ontario.
The Alberta launch is also part of the supplier’s wider expansion across regulated North American markets.
Pragmatic Play director of PR Sharon McHugh explained:

McHugh added that the company plans to build on its progress in Ontario and work with partners in Alberta as the new market develops.
