The American Gaming Association (AGA) predicts 2025 to be the fifth consecutive record year for commercial gambling in the US.

In October 2025, revenue grew 17% and reached $6.81 billion. The key segments that witnessed growth were:

  • Slot machines – $3.1 billion (+3.7%)
  • Table games – $822.5 million (+9.5%)
  • Sports betting – $1.6 billion with wagering turnover of $17.78 billion (+23.7%)

Based on the results of the first 10 months of 2025, total commercial gambling revenue amounted to $64.3 billion, which is 8.7% higher than the previous year.

In previous years, total annual commercial gambling revenue was:

  • 2024 – $71.9 billion
  • 2023 – $66.5 billion
  • 2022 – $60.4 billion
  • 2021 – $53.0 billion

The AGA will publish final data for 2025 in February. However, we can see that the market is already moving toward a new all-time high.
